We are an actual law firm handling your account, as opposed to other non-attorney based companies. Our firm will do an in depth budget and hardship analysis. Based on the results of this analysis, the firm will determine what you are able to pay each month and you will deposit that amount into your third party FDIC insured money transmitters account. In addition, we can determine how many months you will be part of the program, and ultimately be debt free. Typical results are 24 to 36 months, but every client’s financial situation is different and thus the term and amount of monthly payments are evaluated on a case by case basis.
While the negotiation process is taking place, you will be making monthly payments into your third party FDIC money transmitters’ account instead of making any payments to your creditors. These funds will be used for future negotiations and debt settlement on your behalf. During this process your credit WILL be adversely affected. However, by avoiding bankruptcy and completing of our program you will be on the road to a credit worthy future.
After you join our program by signing our firm’s retainer agreement, one of our service representatives will contact you to welcome you into the program. At that time we will send out your Welcome Packet that includes all the vital information about what to do while on our program. After sufficient savings have built up in your savings account, we then begin to call your creditors to define a debt reduction plan in hopes of reaching an agreement. Once an agreement has been reached, we will obtain that settlement offer in writing. Once the written settlement offer is received, we will contact the third party FDIC insured money transmitter firm where you are sending your monthly payments and request a payment be sent via overnight or wire transfer to the creditor for the agreed upon amount. This process will continue until all your creditors are paid off, and you are debt free!
